6 ¶ So came Jacob to Luz, which is in the land of Canaan: (the same is Bethel) he and all the people that were with him.
7 And he built there an altar, and (A)had called the place, The God of Bethel, because that God appeared unto him there, when he fled from his brother.
8 But Deborah Rebekah’s nurse died, and was buried beneath Bethel under an oak: and he called the name of it [a]Allon Bachuth.
